We’ve now got two uses for old tyres (or tires to some), super tough laptop sleeves and now contemporary sinks.
I can’t imagine petrol heads spending all the much money on a sink (though am I being very prejudiced here, err no I don’t think so) but if a tyre sink floats your boat they are available from Bristol and Bath, found via trendir.

Attaching a two-stroke engine to a pair of Rollerblades has a Darwin Award written all over it, they do sound cool though.
The top speed is only 20mph but when your feet are mere inches off the floor that is going to feel a whole load faster. Half of me is thinking I want a pair, whilst the other half is saying stop being a dumb ass you accident prone fool.
Thanks the tip Juergen and your Random Good (but dumb) Stuff.

We reported on the $15,000 laser turntable back in May of last year. Now there’s great news for all you audiophiles on a budget, as the price has dropped to $9,900, I’ll have 2 please.
This is still the best way to get your music off of vinyl without the usual wear and tear but I guess you need a pretty expensive and extensive collection to justify dropping this amount on a turntable even after the reduction.

DEMO 2007 – The idea came up to CEO Erik Sirkin when he heard a voicemail greeting from his 17-year old daughter she had created by holding her mobile phone up to her stereo to record a song, the sound quality was terrible. She told him later that a lot of kids at her school were doing it.
Since I am not a teenager any more I will not use this service, but I bet that a a lot of our readers might. I got a demo at the Buz Interactive booth and it is very easy to create your own musical voicemail greeting (aka BUZ) or send a musical message to your friends in a few clicks for $.99 to $2.99 per BUZ (depending on the song), the first BUZ is free.
GetaBuz is available now at www.getabuz.com.
